Kinross a small Perthshire town stands on the shores of Loch Leven within easy reach of Edinburgh (26 miles), Glasgow (58 Miles ) Perth 17 (miles) and Fife (St Andrews the home of golf is only 30 miles away)

The Salutation is ideally located on the High Street and is a traditional Coaching Inn. There is a welcoming Public Bar. Bistro and 6 bedrooms which have been refurbished to a very good standard. An usual feature is the courtyard where you can enjoy good food and drink and there is also a smokeooterie with tv so you can continue to enjoy sky sports and still have a legal fly puff.

There is free wifi and self service laundry facilities again at no extra cost. The latter will be particularly welcome for bird watchers, golfers and other outdoor enthusiasts. Nordic walking a wonderfully aerobic yet almost gentle form of exercise is available round Loch Leven. Poles and instruction is available from the hotel owner John Morris.

The salutation is both biker and cyclist friendly with secure parking and cycle storage.
